Elvis Presley (Bruce Campbell) lebt in einem Altenheim in Texas, ist stinksauer, dass er keinen Kontakt mehr mit seiner Tochter hat und erduldet seine Schwanzkrebs-Chemotherapie. Mit von der Leidenspartie: John F. Kennedy (Ossie Davis), ein Schwarzer, der davon überzeugt ist, seine Haut sei gefärbt und sein Gehirn ausgetauscht worden. Der gute Alte glaubt außerdem, dass eine Mumie spät nachts im Seniorenheim ihr Unwesen treibt und den hilflosen Greisen mal kurz die Seelen aus dem Körper bläst. Es kommt, wie es kommen muss: Die untote Mumie (aus der Hölle gesandt) ist tatsächlich ein Seelenjäger. Und nur Elvis und JFK haben die Chutzpah, das Monster zurück in die ewigen Jagdgründe zu schicken. Hail to the King, Baby!

Elvis lives, suffering from cancer in an old folks home in East Texas. Turning philosophical in his old age, he is not too astonished when another inhabitant declares to be JFK - apparently the black guy’s skin was dyed and his brains swapped by 'them' back at the White House. Better even, according to Johnny F. there’s a mummy on the prowl in this very seniors’ home, sucking the souls out of the old at night because they are easy targets. Turns out, of course, that that’s the stunning truth. Elvis and John F. Kennedy soon find themselves teaming up to kick some mummy ass. You gotta see it to believe it. It’s the ancient evil cursed to live forever in damnation vs. a Rock n’ Roll legend that never died.
